Barcelona - Not a lucky start
Catalanya Montmeló is a new and unknown track for newcamer Jakub Kornfeil and to have is even harder technical problem does not allow to be in the front of the field in QP. It is going to be a hot race. One of the reasons is very hot temperature here in Barcelona, but olso because of home crowds that will support home riders a lot.Hot race expects also Jakub Kornfeil his not so much successful qualifying dropped him down on the grid.
Jakub Kornfeil:For yesterday´s and my first practice here in Montmeló mechanics prepared repaired engine that broke in wurm up session in Assen. We had problems again and I did not work at all to be honest. We changed a cylinder before free practice nr.2.We expected some progress with a bike, unfortunately first setup was not optimal so we had to set up the bike little bit during practice. In the end of the practice I pushed to reach as best laptime as possible to get know what we can do together with the bike. Some good laps were deteriorated by slower riders so I was 17th when I was following British rider Danny Webb and Spaniard Alberto Moncayo. To QP we entered with a good feeling of our setup so target was to reach at least same place as in free practice.Unfortunately after several laps I did not like behaving of my engine that did not rev so much and tyres were different too.Troubles continued and we were not able to find any solutions and because of that I had to stop four times in my pitbox.I can be delighted because there is no way to be delighted for.I have reached no laptime just did some ,,needless" laps and I am staying where I am staying. I will see tomorrow what I can do from 27th place on the grid, basicaly I will have a full gas from the beggining.
