HAPPIEST KUBAJZ-5TH AT HOME GP!!

This time choice of tyres depsite a bid gamble was right and Jakub because of an excellent ride finished 5th in his home gp at Brno circuit. We can easily say, Jakub  defended honour of Czech colours in GP of the Czech. rep. and holded the czech national flag in his leathers so high and with little bit of luck more, Jakub could stand on the podium.Podium is quite high expectation.His ride in front of home fans we explain just by one word EXCELLENT.

Jakub Kornfeil:,, I am absolutely happy.This kind of result me and team did not expect here in Brno. I was very surprised of beggining of the race, because to go from 14th so higher is not easy especialy in those conditions when we selected wet tyres.
I had a contact with Marcel Shrotter in the first corner he hit my rear wheel and I was very close to fall.Second big momment came was in turn two, where Danny Webb crashed just in front of me and I was very I avoided him.Those first momments of the race were absolutely thrilling, but after that I took it easy and started to move up I overtook some opponents in the outside line, that was amazing, but I lost little bit of time with Spaniard Luis Salom because he was very difficult to overtake.After two or three laps I passed him and started to chase down Jonas Folger.But it was very difficult to pass rider in front of me again maybe bacause of wet tyres on dry tarmac so there was basicaly no grip It meant to be very careful to accelerate because it reaaly did not want to crash.I tried to pass Folger twice, but unfortunately I rode little bit deeper and Folger passed me back.I did not overtake Folger, but it is absolutely superb result for all the team and my team have been working very hard since Sachsenring.They made really great job and I am saying big big thanks to my team.But do not think this is any euforic assessement, because second free practice was not so good I was down to 18th and I saw some disappointment inside the pitbox.My bike was prepared nicely before qualifying, unfortunately in the end my clutch did not work well.
5th place is absolutely fantastis result. I am very happy for the support I had all the weekend long support from family, sponsors, friends and fans aroud the track. It was luxury including candles id front of Abaja fans stands!
