HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND NOT ONLY THIS……..

Just a couple hours remain to the Christmas Eve and just a bit more very first tests in 2012 season. Something about a month and half. The right time to check what is going to happen with Jakub Kornfeil in his third GP season.

Promising 2011 season finished in 12 th spot and 72 points caused and excitement in his team and also on the side of its sponsors and supportem. Jakub was practically only rider who was collecting very important points permanently. That has been noticed by Ongetta-general partner, which  welcomes Jakub´s retention in the team. The result of both side satisfaction is a renew contract and continuation in the very new moto3 class coming up next year that substittles traditional 125 cc class. For 2012 the team is going to compete not only with a new name, but also with modified rider structure. Jasper Iwema and Harry Stafford are leaving. Let´s go step by step.

The first change is definitely the name of the team. Italian squadra CBC Corse is going to show their skills as Redox Ongetta Centro Seta, in the name appears Jakub´s general partner Redox Lučenec. After quite a long dealing with several riders we finally know also Jakub´s team mate. Redox Ongetta Centro Seta team line up Isaac Viňales. Afther Espargaro brothers we will be able to see another family duo in one category when Isaac follows his brother Maverick that is confirmed rider for moto3 class, we remember his podiums last year. Let´s say that Isaac Viňales was a CEV Moto2 contender, where he finished 5th on his Promo Harris bike. Jakub and Isaac will experience Honda NSR 250 F machine. Team expect delivery of the bike at the end of December. The first meeting with the bikes will the in the first week in February in Valéncia.

Jakub Kornfeil:  I am definitely very happy to stay with this team and renew my contract, depsite little troubles in the early stages of the year everything was okay then. We will have a new name Redox Ongetta Centro Seta, I am really delighted we were able to find so strong partner and make its name appear in team´s heading. I think it is admirable in Czech situation. But our general partner is not Czech, he is from Slovakia. The category I welcome, because equaled bike are promising fact to aim for high spots. Also I know the team we know how to communicate, we do not have to know each other from zero. That should make our work easier. With coming of Viňales I expect to cooperate more with my team mate, this year it did not work out at all. For example Spaniard Adrian Martín from Aspar squad used out the sleap stream and lines from his super experienced colleagues, he aslo had a chance to speak about settings of the bike. In AJO motosport it is basically the same situation. That´s why I welcome Isaac and I believe, we will help each other in qualifying practices. In this close category there is no place to start behind the border of the state where te GP actually is. We decided to ride Honda bike. In my opinion it is a good choice. Honda is traditional and very experienced manufacter in developing 4 stroke engines, engineers of this gigant will definitely work so hard to do not lose battle against KTM and other brands. Let´s hope everything will work perfectly and we will be able able to think about high placements. I really looking forward to first test. For the Christmas as well.
