High expectations (big eyes as we say at home)

Depsite yesterday´s crash Jakub Kornfeil was very keen on a good result, unfortunatelly as we said It was only ´´big eyes´´, because he crossed the finish line in 13th spot and was not happy at all with his result that was influenced by injury.

There is one sunny side for sure from today´s race, Jakub is not happy, but we was able to close several points on Danny Kent from the UK and there are still two races left. The first one is coming the next Sunday in Malaysia

Jakub Kornfeil: I would not like to comment this race, because what was happening there was a bit tragic. Maybe I had too high ambitions, but change of the weather influenced the race as well, because while I was arriving to my spot on the grid It started to rain. It was just a 30 sec. shower. The situation repeated one more time and our start was delayed, another 10 minutes we had to wait. In this waiting It started to rain, but heavily this time. Everyone was going crazy and changed the tyres, only the front let the dry tyres on. We did so as well, but rain came again and the first sector was totally wet. Before we finished the sighting lap the track was almost dry.The race went under way and during the first lap I was doing very well, when I lifted myself up to 8th place where I was able to stay for a while. Then It started to rain again and again and I started dropping down, because my hand was more and more painfull, It was nearly impossible to ride. My injured hand was getting wet and cold, I totally lost feeling in my hand and It was worse and worse. I felt reactions of my injury and I was finally pleased that this suffering ended. Three points are quite a nice result if I think of these suffering moments, I was happy with this kind of result and with some points I closed on Kent. I would like to thank all my team for their great job I wish I was okay and be able to ride on 100% in Malaysia to reach expectated result.
