Jerez - Race

May 2nd 2010 is day that Jakub will be remember for ever.He scored his first ever 2 points in today´s GP of Spain.Honestly, who can not remember the day that makes a note to motorcycling history as rider that could scored any points?

It is not a victory, but in those age to score some points between those fastest riders in the universe and ahead of 122 thousand hot spanish fans, that makes you remeber surely.After 23 laps crossed Jakub Kornfeil the finish line of the second race of the season in Spanish Jerez on 14th place and between team crew and rider you could see big big excitement.

Jakub Kornfeil:My bike did not work on 100% in warm up, ran only 13000 rpms and I had to enter the pit lane twice and I made only two fast laps in the end of session.Mechanics found the problem It was the spark plug, but It did not give me any relax before the race.Start was good by my opinion I overtook three or four riders I guess, but than Dutch rider Iwema closed my way and riders I passed, passed me back.Since second lap I started to closing gap between  and I caught a group, where I was moving up depsite my Aprilia did not work well again.Strange was, in last corner before finish straight my rpms went down and It was happening only there.I could not catch Schroetter and Martin in s.s and I lost about 40 meters every lap and the rest of the track I rode so hard to catch them back.When I was leading our group I had little handicap.I could seem I do not want to overtake them to fans.In finish it was 14th place, because of good luck I mean some riders crashed and stuff, but I am very very happy for my first points.I could not want more.If I can touch those point I would give them to my mechanics, because they made great job and prepared my bike very well after some problems in warm up session.
