Misano - no points from seaside

Italian riviera and not so far circuit in Misano was hosting another race of motogp season.Jakub Kornfeil did not score third consecutive points.

Czech rider did not wake up to a nice morning at all on Friday with thinks his insufficient speed is evoked by his motorcycle, but then Jakub admited, the low speed is because of him.There was just one target for Saturday, improve by a lot and to be in top twenty.Everything became "normal" in Saturday´s free practice.Jakub was on 19th spot in qualifying, when he lost only 4 tens of a second to start in row 4.That fact meant a big motivation before the race, Jakub was points believing.
Jakub Kornfeil: Okay start I completely lost in second lap where I had a big moment with Khairuddin I lost contact with a group that was fighting for last point-scoring spots.I dropped down to 18th and Spaniard Luis Salom was chasing me, but he crashed out in front of me. I continued in the race alone until another rider closed me that helped me a lot to improve my laptime and to be faster. The rider was Jasper Iwema I passed him and escaped. I had a good rythm and I was closing 6second gap lap by lap to close down Marcel Shrotter. I simply wanted to close him.I closed him, but I was not enough for points, because no of my stronger opponents did not crash of retire because of an mechanical issue or something like that.That´s a shame I think I deserved the single point at least, not only me, but all my team for their great job and nice setting.
That is all my assessement of the race and I think all of you knows what happened in moto2 race.
We lost not only super talented rider, but also very good, kind and funny person.Shoya was a perfect guy. I am so sorry about him. All my thinks are with his family and his team. REST IN PEACE SHOYA, WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
