Because of opponent points free today? Maybe.From Jakub´s view a big effort to score another points to current point standings broken a crasher which stayed lay in the middle of the racing track.

Jakub Kornfeil, representing Racing Team Germany batteling on the tail of his opponents for the best possible result had to avoid a crasher to don´t get him hurt, because of this czech rider showed a little motocross exhibition where he lost a lot of time in the three laps remaining and missed the change to take top fifteen finish.
Jakub Kornfeil: I didn´t have a perfect start and my determination to improve my position immediately I unfortunately did it by opposite way.Since second lap of a race some groups started to form and I knew I have to push hard to overtake my last year rival from redbull rookies cup Sturla Fagerhaug as quickly as possible. This overtake took a lot of time and one of the biggest groups in the race, where fight for world championship point was underway got quite big gap.I was pushing hard to close an advantage, but gap was still consistent. Because of battle and many overtakings that take a lot of time got rider slower and I was little bit quicker and reached my personal best laptime of this weekend in Mugello and also I was closing them by a second per lap.When I already closed the gap there were still 6 laps remaining and I tried to work as hard as possible in this group to be able to score some points.Riders in front of me made many mistakes and for one of them suffered when Spaniard Moncayo crashed in a chicane where Valentino Rossi crashed out.He got high sided and stayed laying in the middle of the racing track and I definitely did not want to hit him so I tried to avoid him, but that caused I rode out of the track. I was very happy I did not crashed after that to be honest. I lost something about five seconds which was impossible to close the gap again depsite this not so nice situation I was battling with one of italian riders and I passed him, but those troubles meant only 17th place in the finish.
