One point suffering

In the end of premiere season that took place at Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valéncia got Jakub Kornfeil another point. In his oppinion the did not score single point but he ,,suffered“ the point.

It definitely was not the race as the Czech teenager imagined before, because in early stages of the race did not do necesary lift up as he wished after yesterday´s qualifying practice. In beautiful autumn weather could not hold the rhythm with the qroup that was battling for many points, so Jakub basicaly remained alone for the rest of the race, because of some technical problems and crashes of opponents Jakub was classified as 15th. This single point secured my 17th place in the standings from German Marcel Schrötter. Among rookies Jakub´s 27 point mean 3rd place.

Jakub Kornfeil: I can not be happy with the race at all, because I expected so much more. I wanted to be pulling the gas more.Morning warm up was quite strange, because it was very slippery and in the race I feel like my bike lost some of the power. For example in yesterday´s qualifying my bike was so much faster and today is was slower in higher revs I was missing the power on engine.After solid start I did not do first laps as I wanted and after a couple laps I even was not able to keep rhythm of Grotzkyj. He escaped me quite a lot on the straights. It was a mistake I think , because next 20 laps I was going alone and it was like a ride without any interesting moments and these stuff. But I am definitely happy for the point that I got with help of my opponents, especialy the overtaking where I passed Danny Webb helpe dme to score this single point.Webb lost the slip on of his exhaust. I am not happy with my ride. I should have been faster however I was not possible to make it better today. In the last race of the season I want to thank my team, my sponsors and all my family for their masive support.
