Ring finger

Jakub Kornfeil crashed and got injured in 125cc class in Australia. He will be okay to race from 13th spot, that he was not able to improve in the end on qualifying practice.

Way for another points in a ling of antipodeans will not be only harsh, but also a bit painful.

Jakub Kornfeil: My qualify started quite well, but I was not able to go faster in later stages, because It just did work out as I wanted, but also strong wind was there. I just needed to follow anyone in his sleapstream. I waited. I set a solid time and knew If I rode with anyone else it would be only better. This waiting lasted for 4 laps, but It panned out. To very last lap I was entering in very strong group with Johann Zarco, but also Nico Terol was involved in this group. It was visible that none of this rider does not want to lead the group and I decided to go alone, Johann Zarco was following me and overtook me in sector number two. It did not matter, because It was clear If I am able to ride with him It will be very good lap. I was riding with him nicely until we arrived to turn 9. For excact explaining I have to say I was maybe 50 cm behind him when he went down. Two possibilites appeared ahead of me, hit Johann or went into the gravel with full gas on gear nr. 4. I definitely choose possibility number two. I was braking hardly, but the speed was so big I had to crash it. Left side crashed caused absolutely grazed ring finger and pain was unbelievable. I take about 5 injections and the pain little bit lower and I hope I will be able to ride tommorow. Finally I am in 13th place, not a bad position, but I admitt I was possible to be much higher. Maybe behind top five. Field is very close to each other and the start will be very important. Hope my finger will give me a good feeling and good night to be more lucky tomorrow. If it does not pain tomorrow I think I will be able for higher positions.
